At the same time it’s a food adventure for attending members, who get to taste unique food creations in small portions from new and upcoming Portland culinary talent or existing restaurants, which will test dishes that are not presently on their menu. In addition to meat … Thanks to some less than favorable weather, the cart will be open 11am-3pm at our SW Park & Montgomery location in the PSU Park Blocks. A big thanks to everyone has stopped by and made us feel welcome as the new cart on the block this month. You make it all worth it. OPENINGDecember 11, 2012 Mark it on your calendars, folks. Yes, January 1st will be our first day of business at our fancy new spot on the PSU Park Blocks. Starting that Tuesday we will be slinging vegan deliciousness from 11 AM – 5 PM at SW Park and Montgomery. Make sure to stop by, grab a scoop (or two, or three), and help support a growing local, small business. While you’re there, make sure to visit our neighbors Tandem Treats. Savor the chill will be entering our Bourbon Poached Peach in the ice cream takedown tomorrow at The GoodFoot. Be sure to come down and check it out! Kickstarter pt. 2September 3, 2012 **I have been informed I am not allowed to call what I make “ice cream.” It has to be “frozen dessert.” We all know what it really is, though. KickstarterAugust 28, 2012 Savor The Chill’s Kickstarter launched a few hours ago. Feel free to spread the word, donate, get delicious rewards, and feel good about yourself. First Day @ KitchenCru Prep SpaceJuly 29, 2012 Yesterday was my first day at the prep space, KitchenCru in the Pearl. Unfortunately, there were some electrical issues that are currently being addressed, and I didn’t have a chance to see The Beast in action. However, all the components for four different ice creams were made, so it wasn’t a total loss. It was nice to get familiar with the kitchen space, and work out a few kinks. I am stoked to get things rolling, and its nice to have a proper kitchen to make delicious vegan ice cream in.
